2010
2010 at Porritt School sees a continued focus on Blogging with most teachers becoming more confident and enthusiastic about using and maintaining their classroom Blogs. Check out the class blogs linked below.
Five classrooms also have had IWB's installed, 2 at ther junior level, 2 in the middle years and 1 in the senior school. Teachers have had training with these and are making good use of them in the classroom as tools to help facilitate children's learning.
A new programme introduced that has some good applications with Literacy learning is Comic Life. Teachers are experimenting with this in different ways and coming up with some interesting results.
